Description
The year 2003 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. To commemorate this significant milestone, The Perth Mint released a 1oz silver proof coin.The mintage is limited to 40,000 . The 1oz coin is struck from 99.9% pure silver in proof quality, with colour incorporated in the design. The coin features a coloured depiction of St. Edward's Crown surrounded by a decorative border and a representation of the breast star of the Order of the Thistle Badge. The 1oz silver coin is displayed in a royal blue, flag shaped presentation case, with the Union Jack printed on the outside of the lid. The coin is accompanied by a serial numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
