2014 Young Collectors Superpowers Series - Super Senses

The 2014 Young Collectors Superpowers series features six coins, each of which portrays an imaginative and exciting design to represent a superpower, with the first incredible release featuring super senses.

The human body has five senses – sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch – which are detected through the eyes, ears, nose, tongue and nerve endings throughout the body. The five senses work together to let the brain know what is going on around us. They can encourage us to communicate with other people, animals and our surroundings, and help to keep us safe by warning us of any danger.

This Young Collectors Super Senses coin is struck from aluminium bronze. The $1 coin has an unlimited mintage.
