2016 The Cubs - Tiger Cubs 1/2oz Silver Proof Coin

The tiger is a large cat native to parts of Asia, India and Russia. Fully grown tigers can weigh in excess of 136 kilograms and measure more than 3 metres in length. Female tigers give birth about once every two years.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of The Cubs – Tiger Cubs 2016 1/2oz Silver Proof Coin.

The coin’s reverse features two coloured tiger cubs playing in the grass in front of a ruined fortress.

The coin is housed in a classic display case inside a beautifully illustrated shipper, with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
