2017 Chinese New Year Dragon 1oz Silver Coin

Chinese New Year is one of the most important celebrations and holidays for Chinese people. The festival is a time for families to reunite, to honour household and heavenly deities, as well as ancestors, and remains the most important social and economic holiday in China.

The coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the Chinese New Year Dragon 1oz Silver Coin.

The reverse of the coin features a dragon draped around a red lantern with a red banner running down the length of the coin depicting the Chinese characters for ‘Happy New Year’.

The coin is housed in a clear latex display case with a black frame, packaged within a beautifully illustrated shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity
