This exclusive 2023 Melbourne Money Expo ANDA Special from The Perth Mint celebrates the Australian Kookaburra.
The coin also features a Leadbeater Possum privy mark, the animal emblem of Victoria found predominantly in the mountain ash forests of the state’s central highlands.
The Melbourne ANDA show took place between the 18th and 19th February 2023.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 2,000 of the Melbourne Money Expo ANDA Special Australian Kookaburra 2022 1oz Silver Coin with Helmeted Honeyeater Privy Mark.

The coin portrays an image of two kookaburras perched on the branches of a shrub displaying the flowers of Australian native waratah.
The design includes a coloured privy mark representation of a helmeted honeyeater, a rare yellow, black and olive feathered bird with golden tufts on either side of its head that became Victoria’s bird emblem in 1971.
The coin is presented in a coloured presentation card that incorporates a fold-out stand for upright display.
