The Royal Australian Mint has released a special coin to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the moon landing. On July 21 1969 the first human set foot on another celestial body, arguably the single greatest accomplishment and technical achievement of all time. The reverse design on the coin depicts the lunar module in space, on its approach to the surface of earth's moon.
