Australian children’s book, where is the Green Sheep? by Mem Fox and illustrated by Judy Horacek, is highlighted in the fourth release in the Royal Australian Mint’s and Children’s Book Council of Australia’s partnership, promoting reading to young audiences.
Each year around Australia, children, schools and families celebrate the joy of reading one week more than any other – Book Week. A long-standing tradition of nearly 80 years, Book Week sees children dress as a character from their favourite book, enjoy story time, and fall further in love with reading.
This year’s release includes a 20-cent copper-nickel gold-plated uncirculated version of the coin in a deluxe edition of the book.
