The Royal Australian Mint released a special one dollar coin to commemorate the games with an ‘M mintmark. The One Dollar coin features the iconic images from the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games logo along with the symbolic images of the bay and surrounding hillside featured on the left hand side of the coins reverse.
