Description
The commemorative folder contains one uncirculated $5 banknote from the new polymer series, housed in a clear window. The folder depicts artwork used on the banknote.
To help keep Australia’s banknotes secure from counterfeiting into the future, the new $5 banknote has a range of innovative security features not previously used on an Australian banknote. Take note of the distinctive top-to-bottom window, flying Eastern Spinebill, reversing ‘5’ and rolling colour effect.
This generation of banknotes also has a tactile feature to assist the vision-impaired community to identify the value of different denominations of banknotes.
