2025 Baby Snake 1/2oz Silver Proof Coin

This adorable coin celebrates the Year of the Snake and is the perfect gift for any baby born in 2025.

According to the lunar calendar, the Year of the Snake occurs between 29 January 2025 and 16 February 2026.

Babies born during this time are said to be blessed with the snake’s intelligence, independence, charm and leadership qualities.

Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality.

The coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 7,500 of the Baby Snake 2025 1/2oz Silver Proof Coloured Coin.

The coin’s reverse portrays a coloured representation of a happy young snake curled around a log with foliage and toadstools.

Included in the design is the Chinese character for 'Snake'.
