2003 Coronation of QEII 50th Anniversary 50c Silver Proof Coin
Description
To Commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the Royal Australian Mint released this silver Coronation Coin. The 50c pure silver proof coin is also a progression of its Accession counterpart with the central image of the crown positioned prominently over Elizabeth's cyper : EIIR.
The 50c coin has 18.24 grams of 99.9% fine Silver and is limited mintage of only 17,500, this special edition coin comes with a booklet containing the Certificate Of Authenticity which documents the day in full colour, recalling the splendour of an occasion that was to shape a lifetime.
