2004 Fifty Cent Student Design (50c) Uncirculated Australian Decimal Coin in Display Card
Description
The primary school student design competition conducted during 2003 attracted over 2500 entries.
The winner, John Serrano, from St.Peter's Primary School, with the theme "Australia" with a design which captures the character of our three most recognizable bush animals, the wombat, the lorikeet, and the koala.
In keeping with the delightful nature of the product, the sunshine yellow presentation case carries the coin.
Issued by the Royal Australian Mint, the uncirculated coin is affordable for all.
It is presented in a card, which allows both sides of the coin to be seen.
