Description
This PNC celebrates the centenary of the Australian Taxation Office. Established in 1910 within Treasury as the Land Tax Office and marking the significant development in our fledging Federation, the Office was created by then Prime Minister Andrew Fisher's reformist Labor government as a way of funding its important social policies. Under the title of "Working for all Australians" the stamp and coin reflects the past journey, and acknowledges the future role of taxation in our community.
