2015 Emu Road Sign 1oz Silver Uncirculated Coin

The third and final coin from the Australian Road Sign Series continues to combine Australia’s unique wildlife and precious metals with the Mint’s high quality frosted uncirculated standard, contributing to its international and domestic success. Following the popular kangaroo and koala releases, this edition features Australia’s iconic native bird, the emu, which stands proudly on the Commonwealth Coat of Arms. The emu (Dromaius novaehollondiae) is a uniquely Australian creature, characterised by its long neck and legs, shaggy grey-brown feathers, blue-tinged head and neck and bounce in its step.
