The 1970 Holden HT Monaro GTS 350 was purpose-built to beat the American Mustangs and Camaros at their own game. This all-Australian red and yellow coupe powered Norm Beechy to victory in the Australian Tour Car Championship in 1970, the first time a Holden (and a locally produced car) had secured victory in this event.
