The Royal Australian Mint has collaborated with the Australian Space Agency on the Out of this World - Australian Space Coin Program. 
working across government, industry and academia to advance Australia's position in the global space economy, the agency is at the heart of space in Australia.

Australia is going to the moon! An Aussie designed and built rover will be part of NASA's Artemis program.

The rover will be operated from a control station in Australia and collect lunar solar soil from which NASA will try to extract oxygen. This will see Australia play a direct role in NASA's mission to return to the moon and on to Mars.
