Description
The Perth Mint and Australia Post have released this 2025 Anzac Day stamp and coin cover.
Each year, on 25 April, Anzac Day commemorations are held across Australia. These services and vigils are held to pay respects to Australians who have lost their lives or served in all military and peacekeeping operations in which Australia has been involved.
The coin portrays an Australian soldier standing in a contemplative pose, and a motif representing a torch with an eternal flame. The images are encircled by a representation of rosemary, a symbol of remembrance that grows wild at Gallipoli in Turkey, as well as the inscriptions ‘25 APRIL’ and ‘LEST WE FORGET’.
