2005 Australian Antarctic Territory Leopard Seal 1oz Silver Proof Coin
Description
The Perth Mint has released a second coin with deseign themes associated with the Australian Antarctic Territory.
The coin is struck from 99.9% pure silver in proof quality with colour incorporated in the reverse design, with a limited worldwide release of only 7,500 coins.
The design of the coin has a Leopard Seal and its pup. The Leopard Seals exist exclusively in the Southern Hemisphere, generally inhabiting pack-ice surrounding the Antarctic continent.
Each coin is housed in a blue presentation case, which comes in a specially designed sleeve. A Numbered Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each coin.
