2005 Dancing Man Moving Image 1oz Silver Proof Dollar Coin

The Anniversary of the Second World War has seen many tributes, and this would have to the ultimate. The dancing man moving image on a coin released by the Perth Mint. The original newsreel footage of the 'dancing man' symbolised the joyous relief felt by the entire nation after six years of war in which 39,000 Australians were killed. Its iconic status adds to the superb collectability of these coins, which will be extremely sought after as the first Australian legal tender releases to feature film-like continuous movement.

The 1oz silver coin is housed in a replica newsreel canister, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
