2010 Celebrate Australia Queensland Turtle 1oz Silver Proof Dollar Coin ANDA Coin Show Issue

The Perth Mint attended the Brisbane ANDA Coin, Note and Stamp Show in May 2010 and released a very limited special release.

It is the Celebrate Australia Queensland 1oz silver dollar coin.

The coin's reverse portrays a coloured representation of the Gold Coast Beaches, skyline and a coral reef.

The design includes a sea turtle, always popular with those visiting the Great Barrier Reef, and a Cooktown Orchid, Queensland's floral emblem.

No more than 2,500 of these ANDA Brisbane Coin Show Specials will be released.

Each coin is housed in a presentation box and illustrated box-shipper featuring the logo of the Australasian Numismatic Dealer's Association (ANDA).

Each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
