Description
The Perth Mint is celebrating 100 years of Duntroon, the Royal Military College of Australia responsible for training cadets for service as officers in the Australian Army. The College was founded at Duntroon located in the ACT, in 1911.
Over the years, Duntroon has established a rich history. Graduates have led Australian Soldiers in every major military campaign in which Australia has been engaged.
The coins reverse portrays a series of figures symbolising the roles and challenges undertaken by a officer cadet at the Duntroon. The coin is accompanied by an authentic RMC Duntroon Badge made from copper with gold plating.
This set has an extremely limited release of only 7,500 sets being produced. This wonderful tribute is housed in a presentation case and comes with a numbered certificate.
