2014 A.B. Banjo Paterson 150th Anniversary Stamp and Coin Cover PNC

Paterson grew up in rural New South Wales, which engendered a lifelong love of the Australian bush and its characters. His most notable poems include Waltzing Matilda, The Man from Snowy River and Clancy of the Overflow.

The coin’s reverse depicts a photographic portrait of Banjo Paterson fringed by Banksia flowers. His signature and the inscription A.B. “BANJO” PATERSON 1864 - 1941 also feature in the design.

The stamp is postmarked for the first day of issue and the envelope includes Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity and official number.
