Description
The wombat is a sturdy quadruped found in forested, mountainous and heathland areas of eastern Australia and Tasmania.
With powerful limbs and sharp flat claws, it is ideally built for digging. At up to one meter in length, it is one of the largest burrowing animals in the world.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 2,500 of the Wombat 2022 1oz Silver Coloured Coin in Card.
The coin portrays a coloured representation of one of Australia’s best-known marsupials – the wombat.
Each coin’s reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design.
It is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
The Wombat 2022 1oz Silver Coloured Coin is presented in a themed presentation card.
