2023 Australian Wombat 1oz Silver Coloured Coin in Card

This wonderful 1oz silver coin celebrating an iconic Australian marsupial. The wombat is a sturdy quadruped found in forested, mountainous and heathland areas of eastern Australia and Tasmania.

With powerful limbs and sharp flat claws, it is ideally built for digging. At up to one meter in length, it is one of the largest burrowing animals in the world.

The coin portrays a coloured representation of one of Australia’s bestknown marsupials – the wombat. As well as the inscription WOMBAT.

Each coin’s reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It
is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
