2023 James Bond Live and Let Die Coloured 1oz Silver Proof Coin

James Bond is a fictional British Secret Service agent created by former intelligence officer and author Ian Fleming in 1953. His famous character featured in 12 novels and two short story collections before producers brought Bond to cinema screens for the first time in 1962.

Bond employs extraordinary cunning, courage and survival skills to hunt down and confront some of the big screen’s most notorious villains. Roger Moore debuted as Bond in Live And Let Die with a portrayal that was as debonair as it was dangerous, often with a deadly sense of humour.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the James Bond Live And Let Die 2023 1oz Silver Proof Coloured Coin.

The coin portrays a coloured representation of James Bond against a fiery explosion. Other coloured elements include the movie title, ‘LIVE AND LET DIE’, and a crocodile, a nod to Bond’s quick-witted escape from a group of the hungry reptiles. Also included in the design are two powerful speedboats symbolising the film’s unforgettable Louisiana bayou chase, and cards featuring the Bond Family Crest bearing the motto ORBIS NON SUFFICIT (the world is not enough) and the number 50.
