These coins focus on five notable engagements that changed the course of history.

The third coin released by the Perth mint marks a pivotal moment in English history. In 1066, William duke of Normandys fleet landed near Hastings where it engaged Kings Harolds foot weary army.

The Perth Mint has released this 1oz silver proof under the Government of the Tuvalu and has a limited mintage of only 5,000 coins.

The coins design depicts a Norman Knight, a Norman helmet and a Saxon long handled axe. It also portrays a section of the historic Bayeaux tapestry in colour.

The 1oz silver proof coin comes with a numbered certificate.
